Cotswold stone chippings have an angular chipping and are turn an extremely attractive dark cream colour when wet. 

A bulk bag contains approximately 850kg, which when laid at 50cm depth will cover roughly 10m2.

Cotswold Stone is a type of limestone, it is permeable, easy to carve and found it great quantity in the Cotswolds – hence its name and use in the Cotswolds. The colour of Cotswolds stone varies as you move through the area, it is honey coloured in the north of the Cotswolds and golden in the south. Famously the city of Bath uses Cotswold stone in its architecture.

How To Keep Cotswold Stone Chippings Clean & How To Clean Them?

It is quite easy to keep Cotswold stone chippings clean, you simply need to use water and either washing up liquid or vinegar. Brush the Cotswold stone with this mixture and make sure to rinse the Cotswold stone chippings with a hose once finished, keep doing this until the entire area is cleaned. This method is particularly effective in removing algae which may occur on damp Cotswolds stone.
